Membership
Benefits of AFAANZ Membership:
- be eligible along with your member institution to apply for AFAANZ Research grants;
- be eligible for conference participation grants;
- submit articles for the Accounting & Finance Journal;
- receive copies of the Accounting & Finance Journal (4-5 issues per annum);
- access the Accounting & Finance Journal online;
- join a special interest group of the Association - there are five to choose from;
- nominating yourself to be a board member;
- voting for members to fill board vacancies;
- registering at the member rate for the annual conference;
- be considered for nomination to the annual doctoral program;
- be considered for nomination to attend the AAA and/or EAA doctoral consortium; and
- be considered for the various awards and external board and committee nominations.

Note that membership is based on a calendar year*. The fee is AU$132 including GST for applicants residing in Australia and AU$120 for applicants residing outside Australia. Membership expires at the end of each year and will need to be renewed at the start of each year.
*Registrations/Renewals are open from 15 November for joining/renewing for the following calendar year. For example, if you joined AFAANZ or renewed your membership from 15 November 2008, you will be considered as being a financial member from 1 January 2009 to 31 December 2009.
