Accounting Educator Professional Periodical

In 2011 at the AFAANZ Accounting Education Symposium members discussed the need for a new initiative that continues the SIG's discussion and enables a means of informative dissemination. The SIG is currently launching a new initiative to its members and the accounting community more generally. A professional periodical dedicated to thought leadership and innovation in Accounting Education that aims to inform readers of latest events, national and international initiatives and updates, news, research and general happenings in the area of accounting education.

Such a professional periodical has been designed to provide a source of dissemination for the Accounting Education research community in Australasia, to encourage and foster further collaborations between academics and with the accounting profession to provide a source of professional development. The periodical will initially be published twice a year and will be disseminated through both the AFAANZ website and list emails to members.

We are particularly interested in hearing from you and you can find a current call for contributions downloadable here. Articles should be of interest and relevance to a broad stakeholder audience, written in an engaging manner and include photographs and images where appropriate. Shorter items that include conference alerts, film, media and publications of interest, innovations, useful web-based resources and sites are all highly encouraged.

All communication, items of interest and general ideas can be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
