A-CSEAR 2018 Conference
The seventeenth A-CSEAR Conference will be held in The Pavilion, Monash Business School’s premium new event space, within the Caulfield campus - a 15-minute train ride from Melbourne CBD. The conference theme for 2018 is ‘EnVisioning Value’. The theme seeks to explore contemporary accounting practices and concepts including measurement, accountability, transparency and governance, in order to reflect on present-day approaches to, and envision future possibilities for, value creation. Keynotes include Professor Mervyn King (Chairman of the IIRC), Professor Judy Brown (University of Wellington) and Rosemary Morrow (2017 Advance Global Australian Agriculture Award Winner).
Emerging Scholar’s Colloquium:
Places are still available for the Emerging Scholar's Colloquium and the organising committee is encouraging Heads of School and academics to pass on the details to HDR students encouraging them to apply. The one-day Emerging Scholars’ Colloquium (ESC) in Social and Environmental Accounting Research is a free event (participants will need to arrange their own travel expenses) and submissions are open until 15 October 2018.
