Calibration of Accounting Learning Standards Interest Group 9

The 12th Calibration of Accounting Learning Standards and the second as Special Interest Group 9 of AFAANZ, will be held at RMIT University in Melbourne on July 6. This date was the most popular time in the Doodle Poll and allows those of us attending AFAANZ time to return to Australia for the Friday workshop. We wish to thank RMIT University for agreeing to host the workshop. We will be looking at the standards for self-management and teamwork for Master students and if time permits knowledge and written communication for Bachelor students

Self-Management- Master level
Seek and reflect on performance feedback to identify and action learning opportunities and self-improvements and initiate this process for others.

Teamwork- Master level
Contribute accounting expertise in a leadership capacity to a diverse team collaboratively providing possible solutions to an emerging and/or advanced business problem in a complex context

Knowledge- Bachelor level
Integrate theoretical and technical accounting knowledge in a business context.

Communication- Bachelor level
Justify and communicate accounting advice and ideas in straightforward contexts to influence specialists and non-specialists.  

The charge is $100 for members and $120 for non-members and includes morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and drinks after we finish.
